The Arkansas Student Loan Authority is dedicated to supporting the needs of financial institutions that participate in or wish to participate in the Federal Family Education Loan Program in Arkansas.  The following programs can be customized to meet the specific needs of each lending partner. 

Secondary Market Services

ASLA serves as the state’s designated secondary market for financial institutions lending to Arkansas students and parents.  ASLA seeks to offer competitive pricing for education loan portfolios while also offering loan servicing to our secondary market clients. 

Arkansas Community Lenders (ACL) Referral Program

ASLA serves as the “student loan department” for community lenders throughout Arkansas who participate in the ACL Referral Program.  We provide student loan expertise to lenders and their customers while removing the hassle and overhead typically involved in administering the Federal education loan program.  

ASLA’s Lender Services programs are important to the state of Arkansas because these programs keep Federal student loans in Arkansas where the income from these loans will be reinvested in future students.
