Announcing the 2009 Woodruff Scholarship Recipients
May 2009, Little Rock, AR - The 2009 R. Preston Woodruff Scholarship Renewal Scholarship Winner, Stevie Dyer of Royal, AR (pictured below), submitted the winning essay. Stevie's scholarship will be renewed each school year for a total scholarship award of $4,000. Stevie is planning on attending Arkansas Tech University.

April 2009, Little Rock, AR - Twenty-five Arkansas residents now have $1,000 to help realize a dream to be a teacher, a nurse or any profession that will make his or her life better as well as others in Arkansas. Each recipient was required to submit a 500 word essay answering the question "What has motivated you to further your education?"
