Trade and Technical Schools

Trade and technical schools offer one to two year programs that teach occupational skills for certain crafts or clerical careers. Upon completion and certification, the students are prepared for immediate entry into the workforce. Vocational schools focus less on academic subjects and more on specific labor skills that require mastery for certification such as carpentry, masonry, electronics or office administration.
