Free Online Scholarship Search

Little Rock, AR: The Arkansas Student Loan Authority (ASLA) is rolling out a new online scholarship search program containing 2,200 scholarships for incoming freshmen at Arkansas colleges and universities. The Arkansas Scholarship Connection database is a state-of-the-art resource that’s free to schools, students and families, courtesy of ASLA’s Student Outreach Services (SOS).
“The free scholarship search is a valuable addition to ASLA’s collection of online resources,” says Nancy K. Smith, director of marketing and operations. “ASLA is proud to be the driving force promoting higher education and improved economic opportunities for the citizens of Arkansas.”
The mission of ASLA is to provide information about and access to education funding for all Arkansas students who wish to attend an institution of higher learning.
ASLA’s SOS division provides students, parents and high school counselors with cutting edge scholarship search tools. The new online scholarship search is dedicated to awarding Arkansas students for academic excellence and community service. ASLA will continue to add state, regional and national scholarships as well as career specific scholarships and grants. The free scholarship search is accessible at ASLA.info/collegeplanning/scholarshipsearch.
In addition to this exciting new resource, ASLA is launching Fund My Future, a web portal providing Arkansans comprehensive financial aid information.
